Who We Are

Our Vision

Founded in 2013 by sisters Salwa and Yeraldin Yordi, Farándula Texas has been dedicated to providing information about events within Austin and its neighboring areas in Spanish. Presently, Salwa Yordi takes the helm of Farándula Texas, simultaneously holding the role of freelance entertainment reporter at Telemundo Austin. Alongside this, she also serves as the Communications Director for Latinitas, showcasing her multifaceted involvement in media and communication.
On a separate path, Yeraldin Yordi has ventured into the events industry with her own company, "YeraldinEvents," carving out her niche in the vibrant landscape of event planning and organization. Their collective endeavors reflect a commitment to promoting cultural events and entertainment within the region, contributing to the diverse tapestry of Austin's community.
